Piers Morgan finds pro-gun protesters ‘slightly tyrannical’

Settle down, Musket RT @piersmorgan: Rather large protest growing outside this Houston gun store now. Feels slightly tyrannical, ironically.

— Cuffé (@CuffyMeh) February 5, 2013

If anything is ironic, it’s that a British journalist feels no hesitation ridiculing Americans (Ben Shapiro in particular) for thinking they might have to one day defend their freedom — seriously, when has that ever happened? To Morgan, though, the First Amendment is the one that matters; after all, he credited it with protecting him from “deportation.” When more than a few American citizens exercise their own First Amendment rights outside the confines of a New York TV studio, though, it can seem a little tyrannical.

@piersmorgan you spelled “freedom of assembly” incorrectly

.@piersmorgan how dare those tyrannical petty commoners express their views to you! That’s an abuse of their Free Speech privileges. #nra

.@piersmorgan tell your armed security guards to push them back. Pistol-whip them if you need to. Don’t let them intimidate you. #BanGuns

.@piersmorgan put on your Red Coat, step outside and yell, “For the Queen!”…then rush the crowd.

So, is this what tyranny looks like?

What does it say that Morgan felt safer inside the gun range, with Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott armed and waiting?

Even worse, Abbott was accompanied by a known gun nut who goes by the alias, “The Motor City Madman.” How did Morgan escape with his life? And did the owner of the gun shop manage to sell him a musket?

With Ted Nugent before interview with @piersmorgan. Watch it on CNN at 8:00. twitter.com/GregAbbott_TX/…
