Today’s tantrum is brought to you by the letters N, R, and A. See, Piers is pissed because the NRA wants concealed carry permits to be valid across state lines:
The nation’s largest gun-rights group, which officially opens its meeting of about 70,000 people Friday in Indianapolis, wants Congress to require that concealed weapons permits issued in one state be recognized everywhere, even when the local requirements differ. Advocates say the effort would eliminate a patchwork of state-specific regulations that lead to carriers unwittingly violating the law when traveling.
And according to Piers, that makes the NRA a bunch of “assassins”:

That pretty much sums it up.
A little far out there? That’s being generous, considering Piers’ suggestion that the NRA is made up of assassins whose mission is to arm other would-be assassins.
Yep. The real threat here is Musket’s weapons-grade stupidity. Guns aren’t inherently dangerous. In fact, they’ve been successfully used to help prevent potentially deadly violence:
